The absolute majority of the seats of the 51-member Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry was won by the combination "Jump Forward," led by Mr. Yiannis Bratakos, occupying 45 seats and 89%, during the elections held in the three-day period from 30 November to 2 December 2024.

The absolute majority of the seats of the 51-member Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry was won by the combination "Jump Forward," led by Mr. Yiannis Bratakos, occupying 45 seats and 89%, during the elections held in the three-day period from 30 November to 2 December 2024.

Specifically, after the completion of the counting of ballots of the combinations that participated in the elections for the election of a new administration in the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the distribution of seats is as follows: 

"Jump Forward," led by Mr. Yiannis Bratakos elected 45 of the 51 councillors to the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Commercial Department 15, Manufacturing Department 15, Export Department 1, Services Department 14), receiving 8,327 votes.
The combination "The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry to its members," led by Mr. Nikos Sofianos, received 1045 votes and elected 6 advisers to the board (Commercial Department 2, Manufacturing Department 1, Export Department 2, Services Department 1).
A total of 9,553 businessmen voted, while the invalid and blank ballots totaled 181.

The newly elected president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yannis Bratakos, said: "A big thank you to all the members who participated in the elections and honoured me with their votes. The result is an honour for me, but also a responsibility. From today we all start working together for a more modern, more effective Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. That will support its members, be at the forefront of developments, and represent the business community in a worthy manner. I want to thank my team, our combination 'Leap Forward'. Together, we all fought a fight that reflects our shared commitment to a better Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The next day begins with a plan and work. Our goal is a chamber that is a true ally for business. One that provides modern services, promotes extroversion, supports innovation and seeks solutions to its members' problems. I pledge to do my best to make our vision of a strong Chamber of Commerce and Industry worthy of the expectations of its members a reality.
