Attica Bank announces the acceptance of Mr. Antonis Bartholomaios' resignation for personal reasons from both the positions of Executive Advisor and Executive Member of the Board of Directors.
As stated in the announcement, the Board of Directors and the Management of the Bank would like to thank Mr. Bartholomaios for his contribution and services to date. His contribution to the consolidation of Pancretia Bank both through the implementation of its strategic transformation plan and the integration of HSBC's Greek branch was instrumental in the subsequent merger with Attica Bank and the creation of the new banking organization.
On the occasion of the resignation of Mr. Antonis Vartholomaios from the Board of Attica Bank, the bank's CEO, Ms. Eleni Vrettou, noted: "Antonis Bartholomaios has been a valuable companion in this very difficult and challenging journey towards the merger of Attica Bank and Pancretia Bank. His contribution was decisive in order to ensure that the idea of joining forces between the two banking institutions was a complete success. Mr. Bartholomew's leadership at Pancretia was a catalyst in its transformation from a cooperative bank into a strong banking organisation, which was a key component of the fifth banking pillar. I wish him every success in his next steps."
