Stagnation prevails today (9/12) on the Athens Stock Exchange, with buyers taking a break after the five-day upward streak (+4.5%) and sellers engaging in limited liquidations.

Of course, the sentiment in the Greek market remains positive, boosted by the surprise upgrade of the German Scope. Today and tomorrow, in parallel, the Capital Link conference is taking place in New York, which comes one week after the success of London.

And all this while there are only 15 sessions left until the end of 2024, with this year's average return hovering at least at +12%, which means that barring the unlikely event, Athens will achieve its 4th consecutive profitable stock market season.

Specifically, in the 1st session of the new week, the General Index declines imperceptibly by 0.02% to 1,456.42 points, remaining almost unchanged compared to Friday's close (1,456.52 points).
