Athens Stock Exchange has started the new week with corrective moods, following the international trend.

In particular, the General Index retreated to 1,489 points with a 1% drop and a turnover of 47 million euros, while 12 million pieces have been traded.

The banking index is under the most pressure with -1.6% at 1,338 points, the FTSE is down -1.1% at 3,622 points, as is the mid cap FTSE which is down 1% at 2,396 points.

All four systemic companies are moving with losses of more than 1% and Piraeus is under the most pressure, at EUR 4.1 with -2.1%. Eurobank retreats to 2.30 euros with -1.7%, ΝΒG below 8 euros (7.94) with -1.5% and Alpha at 1.69 euros with -1.5%.

At the top of the turnover is, as expected, PPA with more than 6.5% and movement at the levels of the public offer (27 euros) with +13%. In high capitalization, Hellaktor moves strongly up against the general sentiment with +2%, OPAP is up 0.6%, and OTE and EYDAP make small gains of up to 0.35%.

On the other hand, Biohalco is at -2.2%, with subsidiaries Cenergy and ELHA down 1.6% and 1.4% respectively. Sarantis is also down 2%, while PPC, AIA, Coca Cola, Motor Oil and Aegean are still moving with losses of more than 1%.

The picture is similar in the mid-cap sector, where only Fourlis and Intralot are positive, with +0.8% and 0.5% respectively.
