Political attention is turning to the Parliament, two years after the railway accident in the Tempe region.
Discussions are currently underway regarding the PASOK’s request for the establishment of a parliamentary committee to investigate potential offenses by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister at the time of the tragedy, Christos Triantopoulos.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5, a debate will be held on the agenda at the leadership level, requested by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, "addressing the tragedy at the Tempe railway station."
On the same day, as previously announced by the leader of the opposition, Nikos Androulakis, PASOK will submit a motion of no confidence against the government, in light of the recently published report by the National Center for Social Solidarity. Mr. Androulakis has called on "all parties of the democratic opposition to support" his initiative, as the motion of no confidence requires 50 signatures, while PASOK has 32 members in parliament.
