"METLEN Energy & Metals continues to bolster its position in the renewable energy sector in Chile by entering into three new EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts for energy storage projects. This agreement marks a significant step towards promoting renewable energy sources in Latin America."

This is noted in a statement indicating that METLEN signed three individual EPC agreements at the beginning of 2025, which foresee the implementation of a photovoltaic project with a total capacity of 190.5 MWp and over 2,500 MWh in energy storage capacity (BESS). All projects are expected to be delivered by the end of the first quarter of 2026 at the latest.

These collaborations enhance METLEN’s position as a reliable EPC project contractor in the broader region, as highlighted, while also demonstrating its capability to provide comprehensive and innovative energy solutions in the field of renewable energy projects and advanced energy storage technologies.
