The financing of the first electricity storage project in Greece by the Egyptian Elsewedy Electric SAE with €18.2 million was announced by the National Bank of Greece.
International interest in carbon dioxide storage
Energean, which is developing the storage at the depleted Prinos deposit through its subsidiary EnEarth, has inked non-binding memoranda of understanding with at least ten industries with significant carbon dioxide emissions from these countries.
