According to the bank's announcement, Revolut, which has amassed 1 million customers in Greece and is the financial application with the most downloads there, has plans for further expansion in the country with a variety of activities.
Through the "Bank of the Future" campaign, it wants to highlight Revolut's innovation in contrast to traditional banks and seeks to adapt services to local needs.
The company's announced goal is to reach 50 million customers globally by the end of 2024, achieving 40% year-on-year growth. In Greece, Revolut is aiming to reach 1.5 million customers by early 2025, and as part of this goal, the investments planned for 2024 have increased by 60% compared to 2023.
Ignacio Zunzunegui, Revolut's Head of Development for Southern Europe, said, "We are the first bank in the market in terms of speed of growth, and we intend to continue to grow steadily. We will gain the trust of more and more Greek consumers thanks to the excellent user experience and the innovative product we have created, which is an excellent choice to become their main account."
As part of these goals, the company is launching innovative features and products for the Greek market. For example, Revolut recently launched Flexible Accounts, a product created for customers who want to make the most of their savings, especially in times of rising costs of living. This solution offers complete flexibility, as customers can add and withdraw funds at any time, as well as earn interest on a daily basis.
"We want more and more consumers to be aware of the innovative features offered by Revolut, which have set new standards in the banking industry, and we are launching our biggest ever TV campaign. It is called 'Bank of the Future' and will be shown in Greece and other European countries in 2024," Zunzunegui added.
"Despite the significant investments we are making, our main growth channel remains the satisfaction of our customers. By offering a complete, easy-to-use, and affordable product, we have been able to meet their needs, which makes them a real growth driver for us. This is also reflected in well-known rating websites, such as TrustPilot, where we are ranked first among the main banks in the country," Zunzunegui concluded.
