Calm reaction in wake of euroelections
The outcome of last night's Euro ballot has left the Athens Stock Exchange in complete calm, with losses staying fully under control and not taking on significant proportions.

The reaction of the Athens Stock Exchange to the result of last night's Euro ballot is absolutely calm, with losses not taking on large dimensions and remaining under full control.

Indeed, the "picture" on the domestic board is clearly better than in the first minutes of the day, when liquidations temporarily exceeded 1%.

More specifically, at the moment (14.00), the General Index is gently falling by 0.42% and stands at 1,452.28 points, losing six points compared to Friday's close (1,458.37 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations extends to 12 points (from 1,440.91 to 1,452.28 points), with the turnover of transactions ranging at 32 million euros, of which 792,000 euros are pre-agreed packages.

On the board, now, Alpha Bank is under the most pressure, with the stock losing up to 2%. Jumbo's shares follow with more than -1.5%. On the flip side, scripts for a deal at Terna Energy provide a 1% boost to TenerG and GEK TERNA.

The banking index, despite significant losses in the morning (-1.5%), manages to "pick up" the range of liquidation, retreating to -0.58% and 1,285 points.

Alpha Bank's shares are limited to -1.85% and 1.59 euros, Piraeus' shares retract to -0.68% and 3.784 euros, Eurobank's shares trade at -0.38% and 2.093 euros, while National Bank's shares fall to -0.61% and 8.214 euros.

In the high-cap index (-0.60% and 3,519 points), Jumbo shares slide -1.8% and 26.9 euros, with shares of EYDAP, Ellaktor, Aegean, Viohalco, and Helleniq Energy retreating by at least 1%. Autohellas, Cenergy, Titan and Mytilineos follow with losses of more than 0.7%, On the flip side, shares of GEK Terna gain 1.0% and shares of Terna Energy rise 0.9%.

As for the mid-cap index (-0.61% and 2,308 points), the Intrakat share stands out at -2.4% and "falls" to the EUR 5 threshold. For their part, the shares of Austriacard, Dimand, Premia, ABAX, ADMIE, Alumyl, Intralot, PPA and Techniki Olympiaki are down more than 1%.
