With consolidated sales of €266.7 million in Greece, achieving strong growth of 8.5% despite challenging market conditions and a volatile global environment, fiscal year 2023 closed for Bosch, a technology and services company.
"The growth recorded in 2023 was the result of the company's continuous growth over the last decade, despite the challenges posed by global economic uncertainty with high interest rates and inflation, consumer hesitancy and the current geopolitical situation," said Ioannis Kapras, CEO of Bosch in Greece, adding: "We believe in the long-term potential of the Greek market. We are already exploring and working intensively on new strategic growth areas, such as software solutions and digital services. Addressing the industrial sector, we provide support services for the design and development of new products as well as digital transformation technologies for the factories of the future."
The number of associates employed by the Bosch Group in Greece reached 275, according to the last count in December 2023. In terms of the outlook for 2024 and taking into account the moderate global economic recovery and significant geopolitical tensions, Bosch in Greece expects to achieve stable growth compared to 2023 sales levels. Despite the current difficult economic situation in Europe, the Greek economy is expected to grow by more than 2% this year.
"The Greek economy continues to perform well, which makes us at Bosch optimistic about a positive outlook for this year as well," said the CEO of Bosch Greece.
