Three bids for the development of the 161.456,84 sq. m. property "Akti and Camping of Agia Triada," which is situated in the Municipality of Thermaikos of the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki, Region of Central Macedonia, were received by the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund today, Thursday, June 13.

The process of evaluating the bids for compliance with the criteria set out in the terms of the tender will start immediately, while at the next meeting of the Fund's Board of Directors, the bids will be unsealed, following all the procedures provided for.
The property is classified as having a "mixed use" general spatial destination and is zoned for the development of "Holiday-TTourist Village" and "Tourism-RRecreation" uses, per the Special Spatial Development Plan (SPDP) that has been prepared. These uses provide, inter alia, for the creation of tourist accommodation, holiday homes, catering & leisure facilities, and sports and cultural facilities.
The Municipality of Thermaikos will be granted a total of 50% of the area of the property with the use zone "Tourist-Holiday Village" (50.000 sq. m.), after the investor has completed the construction of the public infrastructure. In addition, within the area to be granted to the municipality, it is planned to build a school (4 000 m2). These interventions, together with the demarcated forest area of approximately 23 000 m2, create significant potential for upgrading the public space in the area for the benefit of the local community, while the development of the property will contribute to the enhancement of the coastal front.
