The production index in construction increased by 5% in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023. According to ELSTAT data, the corresponding increase that had occurred in the comparison of the first quarter of 2023 with 2022 was of 24.2%.

Also, the Production Index in Construction of the first quarter of 2024, compared to the corresponding index of the fourth quarter of 2023, showed a decrease of 47.4% compared to a decrease of 44.1% recorded in the corresponding comparison of the first quarter of 2023 with the fourth quarter of 2022.

The seasonally adjusted Construction Production Index for Q1 2024, when compared to the corresponding index for Q4 2023, showed a decrease of 4.4%.
