The interest of foreign buyers in the residences in Elliniko, in the context of the urban regeneration that is underway in the area of the former airport, is increasing following the launch of the information campaign for the project in major foreign markets, in combination with the extensive international publications.

Haris Goritsas, Chief Financial Officer of Lamda Development, stated during a conference call briefing for analysts on the occasion of the company's financial results announcement that 30% of the contracts signed for residential properties in the new smart and green Little Athens neighborhood in Elliniko are for overseas buyers.

Lamda has announced that it has begun marketing selected apartments in Little Athens, receiving bookings from interested buyers for 206 units, or approximately 60% of these apartments. Goritsas also announced the commencement of the tender for the sale of land plots in Elliniko areas, aiming to complete the first transactions by next month, thereby accelerating the increase in profitability.

Total cash receipts from property sales in the Elliniko project continue to grow, with over €670 million receipts to date, according to Lamda Development CEO Odysseas Athanasiou, on the occasion of the announcement of the financial results. Sales in the first quarter of 2024 increased fivefold compared to the same period last year, while construction work is now underway at almost all developments on the coastal front, namely Riviera Tower, Cove Residences, Cove Villas, Park Rise, Sports Complex, and the Poseidon Avenue underground project. Athanasiou anticipates further acceleration of the Elliniko project's construction, along with the start of work on the Riviera Galleria and the Ellinikon Mall, which, upon completion, will nearly double the EBITDA profitability of LAMDA MALLS Group.
