€70 billion of loans managed by servicers in the first quarter
According to Bank of Greece data, in the first quarter of 2024, the nominal value of domestic private sector loans managed by domestic Loan and Credit Receivables Management Companies (LDCs) and transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad increased by €579 million.

The nominal value of domestic private sector loans managed by domestic Loan and Credit Receivables Management Companies (LDCs) and transferred to specialised financial institutions abroad increased by €579 million in the first quarter of 2024, according to Bank of Greece data.

Specifically, the total value of loans in this category amounted to €70,045 million at the end of Q1 2024, compared to €69,466 million in the previous quarter. 

COPRORATE LOANS

The nominal value of serviced corporate loans increased to €22,903 million in the first quarter of 2024 from €22,848 million in the previous quarter. In further detail, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €55 million to €22,865 million at the end of the first quarter of 2024. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of €11,500 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs remained unchanged at €38 million at the end of the first quarter of 2024.

LOANS TO PROPRIETORS

The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs increased by €145 million from the previous quarter to €9,196 million at the end of the first quarter of 2024.

LOANS TO INDIVIDUALS

The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs increased by €380 million to €37,946 million at the end of the first quarter of 2024. In further detail, consumer loans serviced increased by €35 million to €15,666 million, while the corresponding housing loans increased by €346 million to €21,992 million.
