Nervousness continues on the Athens Stock Exchange, with investors engaging in selective positioning, amid the effort to defend the critical supports of 1,400 points.

In this context, the General Index recorded a subtle decline of 0.03% to 1,405.76 points, losing just half a point compared to Wednesday's close (1,406.24 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations extends over four points (from 1,405.51 to 1,409.00 points), with the turnover of transactions ranging at 3 million euros in the first 20 minutes.

Piraeus' share recovered +0.87% and 3.379 euros, NBG's share retreated -0.50% and 7.59 euros, Alpha Bank's share decreased -0.38% and 1.4605 euros, and Eurobank's share traded -0.67% and 2.071 euros.

In the high-cap index (-0.04% and 3,403 points), Viohalco's shares are down -1% and 5.7 euros, with PPC's shares losing 11 euros as it retracts 0.7%. On the flip side, Jumbo shares are up +1.1% and EUR 26.8, while Mytilineos and Aegean shares gain up to 0.7%. Helleniq Energy's shares, meanwhile, are attempting to approach the EUR 8 threshold (+0.4%).
