With a quorum of 80.87%, the general meeting of OTE, the last one under the presidency of Michael Tsamaz, who is leaving the group after fourteen years, was completed a short while ago.

Michael Tsamaz was particularly emotional in his message to shareholders, stating that he was proud of OTE's performance since his first day at the helm. He gave a brief review and then declared his confidence in his successor, Kostantinos Nebi, who will take over the reins of the group next Monday.

"I couldn't be more proud of what we have achieved together. Bringing OTE to where it is today. The company I am handing over is in excellent operational and financial shape. I am confident that Kostas Nebis will lead OTE even further upwards. I know that I am leaving the company in good hands," he added. "I have had the privilege of leading Greece's largest technology company, along with an outstanding management team and its amazing people. I thank you all for your continued trust and support over the past 14 years."

"For 2024, we have all the necessary guarantees to face any challenges and deliver on what we have promised for the year. Our operational performance, strong cash flows, advanced networks, excellent services, and, above all, our right culture and values will continue to deliver value to all our stakeholders in the future," he said.
