Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented the weekly report on the government's work in his now-well-established weekly post on his personal Facebook account.
Mr. Mitsotakis referred to the OECD's recognition of the effort to improve the rule of law and the fight against corruption, noting that the OECD report confirms that Greece, in its efforts to become an internationally attractive economy, is on the right track in terms of the legislative and policy initiatives it has undertaken.
The Prime Minister stated that without the rule of law, institutions, laws, and justice that operate correctly, quickly, and in accordance with international standards, we cannot discuss fair economic growth. In the health sector, Mitsotakis stressed that the new digital platform of EOPYY has been launched, through which, in cooperation with all the pharmaceutical associations, we will be able to monitor in almost real time the prescriptions by drug and company and thus the variation of clawback reimbursements to the Greek state. On the fire front, Mitsotakis pointed out that the state mechanism reacted quickly to a very difficult fire, such as the one yesterday in Parnitha, and drew everyone's attention to the fact that "the difficult things are still ahead of us. And our effort is continuous. But in this effort, our allies are also new tools that build a new culture of prevention and responsibility.".
