Preliminary data from Eurostat shows that in June, Greece's inflation rate stayed at 2.5%. On a monthly basis, it increased by 1%.

Inflation in Greece remained unchanged at 2.5% in June, according to Eurostat's preliminary data. On a monthly basis, it increased by 1%.

Annual inflation in the euro area is set at 2.5% in June 2024, up from 2.6% in May, according to a flash estimate by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, services are estimated to have the highest annual rate in June (4.1%, stable compared to May), followed by food, alcohol, and tobacco (2.5%, up from 2.6% in May), non-energy industrial goods (0.7%, stable compared to May), and energy (0.2%, up from 0.3% in May).
