TITAN Group, an international producer of cement and building materials, and Sinoma CBMI, a global leader in cement technology and the provision of integrated technical solutions, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement includes areas such as low-carbon footprint fuel technologies, refrigeration technologies, virtual reality technology in cement production, digital management of spare parts depots, modular grinding solutions, and carbon capture technologies.
It also focuses on research and development of digital data-based production solutions, optimisation of product and/or raw material handling (logistics), factory automation, heat recovery for electricity generation, smart mining technologies, and efficient grinding of clay and other complementary cementitious materials.
TITAN Group Executive Committee Chairman Marcel Cobuz said: "Our partnership with Sinoma will strengthen our green growth strategy with a 2026 horizon, mutually benefiting both companies and promoting our efficiency on several fronts. Together, we are transforming the building materials sector towards a future with a carbon-neutral footprint."
Sinoma CBMI Executive Director, Tong Laigou, commented, "We aim to strengthen our cooperation with Titan in the fields of green and low-carbon development, digital intelligence, and plant operation and maintenance. The MoU marks a new chapter of mutual trust and beneficial cooperation between our companies."
As stated in the announcement, continuing the history of successful cooperation between the two companies, such as the construction of Titan's state-of-the-art cement plant in Albania in 2010, Titan and Sinoma CBMI are planning new partnerships.
