The Athens Stock Exchange is moving cautiously upwards today (3/7), with buyers regaining the "reins", taking trend mainly from the positive "turn" abroad.
In this context, the General Index recorded a slight increase of 0.68% to 1,416.59 points, gaining 9.5 points compared to Tuesday's close (1,407.03 points).
The arc of daily fluctuations extends to 11 points (from 1,410.41 to 1,421.04 points), with a turnover of 34 million euros, of which 2.5 million euros are pre-agreed packages.
The banking index continues the volatility of the previous days, with the result that it is +0.28% and 1,232 points, 8.6% away from this year's highs.
Alpha Bank's share expands +1.44% and EUR 1.5825, Piraeus' share rises +0.91% and EUR 3.55, NBG's share trades +0.23% and EUR 7.716, while Eurobank's share is limited to -0.72% and EUR 2.055
In the high-cap index (+0.71% and 3,446 points), Metlen's share gains 1.6% and returns to 36 euros, with Jumbo, Viohalco, Aegean, PPC, and OTE shares gaining more than +1%. At the same time, Ellaktor's shares are up +1.8% and 2.5 euros, with a 0.5 euro capital return cut-off to follow on July 22. The shares of GEK TERNA, OPAP are also up by almost 1%.
As for the mid-cap index (+0.35% and 2,257 points), the shares of Intracom Holdings, after yesterday's fall as a result of the capital return, react at +1.6% and 3.1 euros. Intralot's shares also show gains of more than 2%, approaching 1.19 euros. EYATH, AVAX, Profile, and Austriacard follow at least at +1%. On the contrary, the shares of Techniki Olympiaki lost 1.6%. A special mention should be made of Revoil, as the strengthening of the stock spread leads to +3.5% (+17% in the last 30 days).
