Barbayanni Distillery is proceeding with the construction of a new alcoholic beverage production plant at its headquarters in Plomari, Lesvos, following the inclusion of its investment programme in the Development Law.
According to a statement, "with this investment, the company aims to double its production capacity, enhancing its competitiveness in the market and its ability to meet the growing demand within and outside the borders.".
This investment activity is an important step for Barbayanni Distillery, strengthening its position in the industry. It is noted that the company's turnover for 2023 was €5 million, while in the first months of 2024 it is "running" at a growth rate of 10% in value terms.
"With its modern infrastructure and increased production capacity, Barbayanni will be ready to meet the growing demands of the market and pursue new growth opportunities globally, keeping its prices at affordable levels without having made new revaluations," the same statement noted.
