Medicon announced that, by decision of its Board of Directors, yesterday, July 11, 2024, it proceeded with the sale and transfer of its entire shareholding in its subsidiary Pliroforiki Hellas, i.e., 50.90%.

This decision, according to the announcement, is part of Medicon's strategy to focus on its main areas of expertise and activity.

The proceeds of the liquidation amount to €356,290.84 (€267,218.13 received, and the balance of €89,072.71 will be received on March 31, 2023), strengthening cash flow and allowing for the equal financing of investments in the main business lines.

It is stressed that the liquidation of the investment is not expected to materially affect Medicon's financials in the future (the subsidiary contributed 3.1% of the group's turnover in 2023).
