The ambitious project of creating a government park at the premises of EVO-PYRKAL in Ymittos starts with the announcement of the relevant tender.
HRADF, a member company of the GrowthFund, today announced the launch of the tender procedure for the development of the government park "Andreas Lentakis," with an estimated value of €421 million (plus VAT).
The Government Park will be developed on an area of 154 hectares and will include the creation of a new administrative office complex on the premises of EVO-PPYRKAL, including the development of a large urban park that will act as a "green lung" in the wider area of the Municipality of Dafni-YYmittos in the Attica Region.
The project will be carried out through a public-private partnership (PPP), and the preferred investor will undertake the construction, financing, maintenance, and operation for 30 years of the new administrative building complex and the urban park.
The tender process will be carried out in two phases. The first phase will involve the pre-selection of candidates on the basis of technical and financial capacity criteria, and the second phase will involve the submission of binding financial offers. Interested investors are invited to submit an expression of interest file by September 6, 2024.
The Strategic Procurement Facility (PPF) unit of the Hellenic Investment Fund was appointed by the Government Committee responsible for maturing, conducting the tender process, and monitoring the execution of the contracts for the implementation of the project.
The creation of the Government Park is one of the largest PPP projects ever tendered in the country, but it is also a flagship investment with multiple economic, social, and environmental benefits: the concentration of fragmented services in a single space, savings for the public sector, and upgrading the quality of life of the residents of the wider area of the Municipality of Daphne-Ymittos.
Details of the tender procedure are described in the Call for Expression of Interest, which has been posted on the website of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund.
