Greek business turnover up 1.5% in May
The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) reported that, in May of this year, there was a minor increase of 1.5% over the previous year in the turnover of businesses across all economic sectors, taking into account the most recent data on turnover from administrative sources.

A small increase of 1.5% in May compared to last year recorded the turnover of businesses in all sectors of the economy, incorporating the latest data on turnover from administrative sources, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

More specifically, the turnover in May 2024 amounted to €30,839 thousand, an increase of 1.5% compared to May 2023, which amounted to €30,395 thousand.

Enterprises in the accommodation and food service activities sector recorded the largest increase in turnover in May 2024 compared to May 2023, while those in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector recorded the largest decrease, down 9.8%.
