Metlen Energy & Metals has completed the sale of a portfolio of 110 MWp photovoltaic projects in the UK to Schroders Greencoat.

According to the announcement, Metlen Energy & Metals has successfully completed the sale of one of its UK photovoltaic project portfolios to Schroders Greencoat. The portfolio consists of three farms, located in Gorse Lane in Lincolnshire, Defford in Worcestershire, and Watnall in Nottinghamshire, with a total capacity of 110 MWp, providing energy equivalent to that required for around 41,300 homes per year.

The three PV farms were developed in the UK by METLEN's M Renewables, and in April 2022, the company and Centrica signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Vodafone UK for the energy generated by the three projects.
