The government announced the changes to the general secretariats of the ministries today.
According to government sources, the changes in the General Secretariats of the ministries are aimed at further accelerating the government's work and were made after consultation of the Grand Maximus and all ministers.
With a horizon of 2027 and the bold reform programme to be implemented by then, any appointments, replacements or moves were decided after assessing the work done so far and valuing the contribution of each and every one of them to a more effective state at the service of citizens, the same sources stressed.
There are changes in 1/3 of the Secretariats General, 25 in all, with 6 being transfers. The new format creates a stronger organisational structure at the core of the government.
It is worth noting that 40% of the people in the new format of Secretaries General are women.
In this context, new opportunities were given to people, effort was rewarded, and for the Secretaries General leaving the Maximou Mansion, there is unlimited appreciation for the work they have done.
