The Athens Stock Exchange is stagnating today (3/9), which is accumulating forces in the area of 1,440-1,450 points, amid the sluggishness prevailing abroad.
The Greek market, after Monday's bullish move, is trying to stabilize at current levels before trying to break the next resistance of 1,460 points and approach this year's highs of 1,502 points.
More specifically, in the second session of the week, the General Index recorded a subtle increase of 0.12% to 1,447.84 points, gaining 1.5 points compared to Monday's close (1,446.17 points).
The arc of daily fluctuations also extends to 1.5 points (from 1,446.31 to 1,447.92 points), with the turnover of trading just 2.5 million in the first 15 minutes.
Piraeus share is marginally strengthened to +0.17% and 4.027 euros, Alpha share increases to +0.73% and 1.5875 euros, Eurobank share trades at +0.24% and 2.069 euros, while the share of NBG is almost unchanged at 7.97 euros.
In the high-cap index (+0.05% and 3,522 points), Sarantis shares expand +1.5% and 10.4 euros, boosted by improved half-year profitability. Motor Oil, Aegean and Lamda follow up to +1%. On the flip side, shares of OPAP, which will announce its Q2 figures and 2024 interim dividend today, are down 0.7% but hold at EUR 16.
As for the mid-cap index (+0.47% and 2,323 points), ADMIE shares stand out at +4% and 2.2 euros, thanks to the looming agreement on the Crete-Cyprus electricity link. In the +2% range, shares of Kri Kri, Intracom and HKE also follow, while Fourlis - Profile follow at +1%.Accumulation before 1,450 points
