LAMDA Development commissioned the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) to survey the state of the marine environment in the coastal front of Elliniko, where Europe's largest urban redevelopment is in full swing.

As stated in today's update, water quality remains unaffected. Sampling and chemical analyses continue throughout the redevelopment works, while, among other things, marine biodiversity is being assessed and the quality of the seawater and seabed is being recorded. Sustainability is an integral part of the #TheEllinikon redevelopment project and a core value of LAMDA Development, the company says.

The Board of Directors has approved a sustainability policy for LAMDA Development Group as of 2021. The policy summarizes the group's commitment to responsibly manage the economic, social, and environmental impacts arising from all its activities on its stakeholders, as well as, more broadly, on the economy, society, and the natural environment.
