Another session of limited trading and reduced interest seems to be on Athens Avenue, with no desire to follow the mildly bullish trends of the European boards.

Specifically, the General Index is trading at 1,464.9 points with a small loss of 0.2% having moved within a narrow range of just 3.89 points.

Turnover stands at 26 million after two and a half hours of trading, of which only 15 million are on the board as 11 million are for two large blocks in OPAP and TERNA Energy, while 4 million blocks have been traded.

The banking index is at 1,276 points with -0.2%, the FTSE is at 3,564 points with -0.32%, and the FTSEM is at 2,317 points with -0.04%.

On the financial/business news front, the next few days are expected to be rich both within and outside the borders, especially given the season, so it remains to be seen if this will bring some awakening of trading activity.

On the agenda within Greece, attention will turn to the half-year results of the banks, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, with Eurobank and Piraeus Bank, followed by National Bank on Thursday and Alpha Bank on Friday.

Outside the borders, Eurozone GDP moved slightly better than expected in the second quarter but is still anemic at +0.3%, while tomorrow all eyes will be on the new inflation reading, with analysts forecasting it to show a marginal slowdown.

All four systemic banks are now down, but with limited changes: Alpha is around unchanged, Piraeus and Eurobank are at -0.1%, and ΝΒG at -0.5%.

Metlen and Jumbo are under more significant pressure with losses of over 1%, while the market is not getting any help today from OTE, which is down around 0.5% in recent sessions, with Hellaktor at -2%.

Elvalhalcor stands out in the 25 upwards, up +1.5% but with a low turnover of 50k euros, with the others in the group, Viohalco and Cenergy, around +0.5%.

Some help is given by the morning and the "heavy" Coca-Cola with +0.35%.

In the lower layers, Kri Kri is of interest with +0.9% and a turnover of over 160 thousand euros.
