ELSTAT data indicates that the total turnover for all businesses and economic activities in the second quarter of 2024 was €119,380,277, a 5.7% increase from the previous quarter's total of €112,896,460.

Enterprises in the construction sector saw the largest increase in turnover in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2023, up 16.6%, while those in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector saw the largest decrease, down 19.8%.

For all enterprises in the economy with a double-entry bookkeeping obligation, for which data are available on a monthly basis, turnover in June 2024 amounted to €33,790,880 thousand, an increase of 2.7% compared to €32,910,563 thousand in June 2023.

The largest increase in turnover in June 2024 compared to June 2023 was recorded by enterprises in the Arts, Entertainment and Recreation sector, up 19.4%, while the largest decrease was recorded by enterprises in the Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply sector, down 16.4%.
