The Athens Stock Exchange continues the stagnation of the last few days, which for the time being does not seem willing to "break" the narrow limit of the current fluctuation.

Thus, the Greek market remains stuck in the 1,425-1,437 area, unable to break through the 1,440 resistance and postponing a possible move towards the year highs of 1,502.

This, despite the fact that the first half corporate figures offer the opportunity for selective stops, in the context of an informal rotation. Tomorrow, meanwhile, we have the restructuring of the MSCI indices (Motor Oil's exit from Standard Greece).

In this environment, in the 4th session of the week, the General Index is up marginally by 0.15% to 1,427.51 points, gaining two points compared to Wednesday's close (1,425.36 points).

The arc of the daily fluctuations extends over three points (from 1,425.73 to 1,428.70 points), with the turnover of the trading volume hovering at just 2.5 million in the first 15 minutes.

The banking index, after yesterday's pressures, attempts to stabilize at current levels, resulting in +0.12% and 1,261 points.

Piraeus shares are up +0.50% and 3.823 euros, Alpha shares follow at +0.32% and 1.5895 euros, ΝΒG shares trade at -0.15% and 7.86 euros, while Eurobank shares retreat to -0.19% and 2.058 euros.

In the high-cap index (+0.15% and 3,469 points), Titan Cement's shares halt their five-day downward streak and return to 31.8 euros (+0.6%). At the same time, OPAP's shares expand by 0.9% and approach 16 euros, while AIA's shares continue their upward reaction (+1.2% and 7.89 euros). Motor Oil's share, at the same time, is +0.5% ca 21.7 euros, while Helleniq Energy's share is marginally up 0.3% ahead of today's publication of its half-year results.

As for the mid-cap index (+0.18% and 3,841 points), Intralot's share attempts to stand out at +1.2% and 1.16 euros, with Optima, Thrace Plastics, Kri-Kri, and Dimand following at +0.8%. For their part, shares of Quest and EYATH are up 1.5%, but with low turnover. On the flip side, shares of Intrakat, Lavipharm, ADMIE, and Intracom retreat controllably by up to 1%.
