In July, the turnover of all businesses in Greece with the obligation to keep double-entry books amounted to 37.948 billion euros.

According to data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), which covers all sectors of the economy, there was a 12.7% increase in the turnover of businesses compared to July 2023, when it stood at 33.673 billion euros.

The largest increase in turnover in July 2024 compared to July 2023 was recorded by enterprises in the sector Electricity, Gas, Steam, and Air Conditioning Supply, by 35.6%, and the smallest increase was recorded by enterprises in the sector Activities auxiliary to Human Health and Social Work, by 1.0%.
