The nominal value of domestic private sector loans managed by servicers and transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad decreased by €277 million in the second quarter of 2024.
The total value of loans in this category decreased to €69,768 million at the end of Q2 2024, down from €70,045 million in the previous quarter, according to the Bank of Greece.
NON FINANCIAL CORPORATES
The face value of business loans under management decreased to €22,788 million at the end of the second quarter of 2024, from €22,903 million at the end of the previous quarter. More specifically, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporates (NFCs) decreased by €115 million to €22,750 million at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
The nominal value of loans under management to other financial institutions remained unchanged at €38 million at the end of Q2 2024.
LOANS TO SOLE PROPRIETORS
The nominal value of loans under management to self-employed persons, farmers, and sole proprietorships decreased by €99 million compared to the previous quarter to €9,097 million at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
LOANS TO NON PROFITS
The nominal value of loans under management to individuals and private non-profit institutions decreased by €63 million compared to the previous quarter and stood at €37,883 million at the end of the second quarter of 2024. More specifically, consumer loans under management decreased by €29 million to €15,637 million. Mortgage loans under management decreased by €36 million to €21,956 million.
