Blend Development expands its portfolio with the successful completion of the purchase of two buildings located at 74 Syngrou Avenue and 30 Pireos & Geraniou Streets.

The newly acquired properties will be extensively renovated, LEED certified, and will be operated as hotels by renowned operators. These acquisitions mark an important milestone in Blend's efforts to expand the company's ever-growing hospitality portfolio, the announcement said.

THE PROPERTIES

The property at 74 Sygrou Avenue is to be converted into a four-star, 2,300 m2 hotel with 50 rooms and two dining areas. The listed facade will be restored to its previous state. With its ideal location next to the Fix metro station and proximity to the Acropolis Museum and the wider Koukaki area, it is a unique location for serving international and Greek visitors to the capital.

The property at 30 Pireos and Geranios Streets, acquired by Prodea Investments, will be converted into a 32-room property with retail space on the ground floor. Work has already started, and the property will be operational in Q3 2025.

In addition, the company is transforming a 5,000-m2 building at 54 Stadiou Street into a four-star hotel with a capacity of 130 rooms. Construction work is underway, and the hotel will open in 2025.

Parris Kallisantsis, CEO of Blend Development, commented, "Consistent with our strategy, we are proceeding with the expansion of our portfolio. We are delighted that with the acquisition of two excellent properties in areas with great potential and promise, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable development and continuous contribution to the upgrading of Athens city centre."
