A slight increase was recorded in arrivals and overnight stays according to the provisional monthly data on the traffic of hotel, camping and collective accommodation of short stay (rooms to let) for the reference month of July 2024.

According to the data of the relevant survey, in July 2024, arrivals at tourist accommodation establishments amounted to 6,245,365 and overnight stays to 30,309,545, an increase of 2.3% in arrivals and 2.9% in overnight stays compared to the corresponding month of 2023.

In particular, in the month of July 2024 compared to the corresponding month of 2023, there was an increase of 2.6% in arrivals and 3.1% in overnight stays of foreigners. Similarly, for nationals, there was an increase in arrivals and overnight stays by 1.0% and 1.1%, respectively.

Foreigners made the largest contributions to arrivals and nights spent in all lodging facilities, with 80.2% and 87.6%, respectively. The average total overnight stay for the month of July 2024 amounted to 4.9 days.
