The company Kappa Perla, a company of interest of Erietta Kourkoulou Latsis, enters the share capital of Project Parenting with a minority stake and with a willingness to support the personal vision of the founder, Ms. Marina Arplia, and the company's development plans, as stated in the relevant announcement.
Ms. Marina Arplia, founder of Project Parenting, the platform for parents in Greece that offers information from professionals and experts on parenting and education of children, said, "Project Parenting symbolizes and highlights the great value that parents have for our society, because by raising children you create tomorrow. Since the day we started, our sole aim has been to stand by what parents need in their wonderful yet challenging journey. Through the authoritative educational materials we provide and with an approach based on respect, empathy, and care, we support the raising of children who will become happy and resilient adults, thereby contributing to change and building a better world for all of us. I think Erietta symbolizes this change we want to bring about. She is a young, dynamic woman who has consciously chosen to make this world more beautiful and more just. Through this journey, she is one of the most authentic people I have met. It is a great honor and pleasure to call her a partner. The reason I chose to move forward with this investment is because I feel confident that our partnership with Erietta will further and substantially enhance our vision. I am also very excited to say a big thank you to all the parents who have put their trust in us and a big bravo for striving in the midst of adversity to be there for your children."
Erietta Kourkoulou-Latsi commented: "We are sincerely happy to be able to contribute to the development of Project Parenting, a modern platform for information and interaction that was missing in the Greek family. From the first moment we met Marina, we recognized her passion and dedication to her work, as well as the common values that characterize us on a personal and professional level. Investing in schemes that combine financial sustainability with a meaningful social footprint is my top priority, and I look forward to seeing Project Parenting gain more and more traction among Greek young parents so that, very soon, we can see its positive influence on the evolution of our society and, in particular, the younger generation."
It is noted that the funding process was coordinated by Investing For Purpose, a company that aims to support investments with a positive impact on society and the environment.
Anne Nijenhuis, Partner at Investing For Purpose, added: "Marina Arplia is one of the first founders we met when we started IFP, and we are delighted that the result of our close collaboration has helped us to complete our shared goal of finding funding. Through IFP's investor community, we believe we were able to find in Erietta Kourkoulou Latsis the perfect profile of a long-term supporter who shares Project Parenting's values."
