The General Producer Price Index for Industry (total domestic and external market) recorded a decrease of 2.4% in August 2024, compared to the corresponding index of August 2023, compared to a decrease of 8.3% recorded in the corresponding comparison of the 2023 and 2022 indices.

On a monthly basis, compared to July 2024, producer prices showed an increase of 0.5% compared to a 3% increase recorded in the corresponding comparison of the year 2023 indicators.

The average General Index for the twelve months of September 2023 to August 2024, compared to the average General Index for the twelve months of September 2022 to August 2023, showed a decrease of 4.4% compared to an increase of 3.1% recorded in the corresponding comparison of the previous twelve months.
