In 2023, AB Vassilopoulos' sales amounted to €1.97 billion euros, maintaining the same levels as in 2022. 

Operating profit amounted to €6.5 million compared to €20 million in 2022, a decrease that is mainly due to accounting and other one-off non-operating expenses and that does not reflect the company's actual performance, it notes.

For this reason, it is worth noting that adjusted operating profit (excluding impairments and exceptional losses) amounted to €29 million and adjusted EBITDA amounted to €132 million, at the same level as the previous year, while ensuring a stabilisation of performance as the operating profitability ratio remained unchanged. The company's positive performance is also reflected in the improvement in operating cash flow, which amounted to €120 million, up €77 million compared to 2022, it said.
