The Athens Stock Exchange shows losses for the 3rd consecutive day, with investors continuing to liquidate, keeping the General Index below 1,450 points.

The loss of bullish momentum is undoubtedly related to developments at the National Bank of Greece, where the offer book for the transfer of 10% of the HFSF's shares closes today. The revised price range has "come down" to 7.40 to 7.65 euros compared to 7.30 to 7.95 euros previously.

The tumultuous situation in the Middle East, where the likelihood of a direct conflict between Iran and Israel has sharply increased in the wake of the most recent dramatic events, is also adding more water to the mill of uncertainty.

All this, despite the calm abroad, seems to be affecting the General Index, which is down 0.64% to 1,437.66 points, losing about 9.5 points compared to Tuesday's close (1,447.03 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations spans three points (from 1,436.08 to 1,439.43 points), with trading turnover at 4.6 million in the first 10 minutes.

ΝΒG share is slightly reduced to -0.34% and 7.624 euros, Piraeus' share decreases to -0.58% and 3.768 euros, Alpha's share trades at -0.62% and 1.527 euros, while Eurobank's share folds to -1.56% and 1.9905 euros.

In the high-cap index (-0.76% and 3,483 points), OTE shares are down 1.4% and "clipped" at 15.5 euros, with PPC, Aegean and Jumbo losing at least 1%. Cenergy, Metlen, GEK Terna and ELVALHALKOR are down 0.7% to 0.9%. In contrast, EYDAP's shares rise +0.7% to +0.7% and EUR 5.7.

As for the mid-cap index (-0.72% and 2,314 points), Intracom shares stand out negatively at -2% and 3 euros, with Intralot shares following at -1.4% and 1.12 euros. AVAX shares are also down 2%, while shares of Quest and Lavipharm slip more than -1%. On the flip side, Kri Kri and PPA are marginally up 0.5%.
