Mevaco, which saw its turnover shrink in the first half of the year, is aiming to boost turnover in the second half of the year. The company is reportedly expected to focus on exports, while at the same time intensifying its shift to renewable energy sources. An industry that is expected to have significant growth and the company is undertaking a number of projects ranging from metal bases to bases on building roofs.

According to reports, the company is in an advanced stage of negotiations for the construction of metal photovoltaic bases in Greece and abroad, with a total capacity exceeding 1.5 Gwp. At the same time, according to the same information, it is in the process of drafting and signing a contract for the construction and installation of a shelter at the Riviera Galleria building under construction in Elliniko. 

THE PROJECTS 

The fact that certain projects are already contracted creates a corresponding optimism in the management for the 2024 project. In particular. - The company has undertaken and is in the process of preparing a contract for the construction of metal bases of a Photovoltaic Park also in the wider region of Thessaly with a total estimated value of €7.3 million - The company has undertaken, following contractual assignments, the construction of metal bases of Photovoltaic Parks also in the region of Thessaly with a total capacity of 108.4 Mwp 

THE PROCESS IN THE SIX MONTHS

In the first half of the year, there was a contraction of the figures, as a result of the decline in turnover. In addition, higher energy and raw material prices put pressure on profitability margins, and with the renewed flare-up in the Middle East, market uncertainties are increasing.
