Kostas Nebis, CEO of OTE, gave the group's employees a presentation of OTE's strategic plan through 2030. His goal is to develop OTE into one of the leading digital telecommunications providers in Europe, and he outlined the group's four priorities.
- In particular, in 5G, the priority is to exploit the 3.5 GHz spectrum and increase the penetration of 5G devices.
- The recent agreements with Nova and Netflix confirm that the goal in pay-TV is to increase the penetration of legal pay-TV close to the EU average.
- In the corporate customer segment, the company will focus on continuing its successful track record in ICT projects in both the public and private sectors, while there is also significant room for growth in the digital transformation of SMEs, as shown by the recent survey presented by Cosmote with the University of Economics (ELTRUN).
- Finally, accelerating the development of services in the new markets in which OTE operates (Cosmote insurance, Box, Payzy) and possible expansion to even more is a priority for the customer experience.
According to Mr. Nebis, improving the customer experience is a top priority, recognizing that there is significant room for improvement. As he noted, the common denominator in all of this is the company's people, which is why OTE Group wants to strengthen its position as one of the most attractive employers in the country.
