On Tuesday, 15 October, the Draft Budgetary Plan (DBP) 2025 was submitted, in accordance with the deadlines, by the General Accounting Office of the State to the European Commission.

The DBP confirms the fiscal figures for 2024 and 2025 as reflected in the Draft Budget 2025 submitted on October 7, 2024, to the House Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. This confirms to the international community that the objective of maintaining primary expenditure within the limits set in the Medium Term Fiscal-Structural Plan 2025-2028 is achievable.

At the same time, the DBP includes all fiscal measures as announced in the past period and reflected in the 2025 Draft Budget and details the reforms being implemented in line with European priorities.

Furthermore, the DBP records as a result of the government's new fiscal measures the reduction of both poverty indicators and the reduction of related inequality indicators.
