Four Seasons luxury hospitality company and Blue Iris, an investment vehicle of AGC Equity Partners, announce the creation of a high-end tourism complex, which is expected to welcome its first guests in the summer of 2025.

According to the announcement, the Four Seasons Resort Mykonos will be built along the shoreline of the bay at Kalo Livadi and will feature 94 rooms, villas, and suites overlooking the Aegean Sea. The hotel will be developed on an area of 60,324 square meters (649,322 square feet) of unparalleled beauty, stretching from the sandy beaches to the imposing coastal cliffs.

Bart Carnahan, president for global business development and portfolio management at Four Seasons, said:

"Expanding our presence in Greece has been a key objective for many years, while we have been in constant search of the right opportunities that will allow us to grow in this important market. Following our successful partnership with AGC Equity Partners to create our award-winning hotel in Athens, we are confident that this new resort in Mykonos will be the perfect addition to our portfolio in this enchanting country." He goes on to say, "We look forward to welcoming our guests to this new seaside oasis."

Mykonos, which is among the world's top tourist destinations, is known for its countless golden beaches, cobbled streets with colourful bougainvillea in Chora, historical and cultural attractions, and a wealth of gastronomic options.

"Our decision to expand our investment plans in Greece and create another landmark destination in Mykonos is a compelling testament to our confidence and commitment to the country's tourism development," says Walid Abu-Suud, Managing Director of AGC Equity Partners. "We are convinced that this new resort will be an ideal destination for both international and domestic visitors. We look forward to our renewed partnership with Four Seasons."

Leading the team at the new luxury resort will be general manager Ryan Grande, who has 14 years of experience at Four Seasons, including at hotels in Jackson Hall, Vancouver, and Costa Rica. Mr. Grande will lead the new team at the opening of the hotel, bringing the Four Seasons signature to the beautiful island of Mykonos.

"I am honoured to lead the team that will launch this highly anticipated project," says Mr. Grande. "During my time at Four Seasons, I have been exposed to many properties, different cultures, and destinations, and being part of our expansion in Greece will undoubtedly be an important milestone in my professional career. I am really looking forward to opening the doors of our hotel in Mykonos soon."
