The SMERemediumCap (SMERC) fund, led by Nikos Karamouzis, continues its investments, aiming to create a modern network of high quality veterinary service units.

Following the targeted moves from May 2023 through the parent company Four Feet Ventures (FFV), the investment fund announces the expansion of the group's network with a unit in Thessaloniki, as well as the next steps of further development in the southern suburbs this time.

Over the last 24 months, FFV has invested over €15 million in the sector, completing a series of major strategic investments in the veterinary care and companion animal laboratory sector, creating a nationwide network of clinics, the largest currently operating in Greece.

Mr. Nikos Karamouzis, Executive Chairman of SMERemediumCap, said: "We are motivated by our love and care for companion animals, our absolute respect and appreciation for their guardians and our belief, which is our operating principle, that "Every animal is unique and so should be its care".

The cooperation of our Group with veterinarians throughout Greece is decisive. Today the Group works with over 1,000 veterinarians across the country, with the aim of becoming their trusted value-added partner for referrals for specialized cases, examinations, surgeries, hospitalization and emergency 24/365 services. We are creating new jobs, adding value to the industry and upgrading the services offered."
