For the second consecutive session, buyers on the Athens Stock Exchange "smiled", with selective positioning leading the General Index to the highest point of the day.
Nevertheless, the victory can only be described as a Pyrrhic one, given that the Greek market maintained the stagnant and hesitant picture of the last several weeks, continuing its steady underperformance against the foreign markets.
The Athens Avenue, in this way, remained within 70 points of the recent "peaks" of the last 13 years, awaiting a catalyst that can provide a new impetus and bring in "fresh" investment capital.
Specifically, in the 3rd session of the week, the General Index rose slightly by 0.45% to 1,430.09 points, gaining about 6.5 points compared to Tuesday's close (1,423.74 points).
The arc of daily fluctuations was fixed at 10 points (from 1,420.69 to 1,430.67 points), with a turnover of 93 million euros, of which 6.2 million euros were pre-agreed packages.
