The company Hydra Rock Properties Monopersonal S.A. of Ioannis Vardinoyannis is promoting an investment of €475 million in Ermioni.

According to the file submitted to Enterprise Greece for inclusion in the strategic investments, the investment concerns the establishment of an ultra-luxury complex tourist accommodation and tourist village in the Vlaheika area.

In particular, the proposed investment project "Establishment of a complex complex tourist accommodation and tourist village" concerns the creation of a complex tourist accommodation and a residential complex on an area, of which 1. 714 hectares belong to the Municipality of Poros, in the Regional Unit of the Islands of the Region of Attica, while the remaining 40 hectares are located, at a distance of 700 meters, in the area of Metochi of the Municipality of Ermionida in the Regional Unit of Peloponnese.

Hydra Rock Real Estate Monopersonal S.A. requests the inclusion of the project in the provisions of Law 4864/2021 as a Strategic Investment. As stated in the submitted dossier, with basic principles of design and implementation of sustainable development, energy saving, bioclimatic architecture and circular economy, the investment proposal concerns the creation of a resort that will offer quality tourism services of high added value, contributing to the upgrading of the Greek tourism product while stimulating employment and the economy of the wider region.
