The provisional contractors for the project of Tavropos Irrigation Network, with a budget of €105.4 million (plus VAT) in terms of net present value with parallel financing of €34.2 million from the Recovery and Resilience Fund, i.e., a total of €139.6 million, were AKTOR-AAVAX.
The completion of the evaluation of the Participation Documents—Technical Bid & Financial Offer—which will be implemented as a PPP project, integrated in the Water 2.0 program, was announced by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Kostas Tsiaras, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, the Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Dionysios Stamenitis and the Secretary General of EU Resources and Infrastructure of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, Dimitris Papagiannidis.
This project is the third PPP project of the Hydor 2.0 program, for which the very important procedure for the appointment of the interim contractor is completed, while the corresponding procedure for the other two projects of the Hydor 2.0 program is expected to be completed in the coming days. The project includes the preparation of all required studies as well as the construction, financing, maintenance and operation of an underground closed irrigation network serving an area of 115,000 hectares.
