Jumbo Group describes the ten-month figures as encouraging, with sales increasing by around 7%, while it is in preparation for the traditionally increased demand of the Christmas period.

Specifically, in October—the first month of the last and most critical quarter of the year—Jumbo Group recorded an increase in sales of approximately +6% compared to the same month last year.

According to the statement, this performance and the response from customers continue while the situation in the Middle East continues to be explosive and volatile. The "closure" of the Suez Canal, which was initially "temporary" in nature, continues to costly inconvenience the entire supply chain due to a lack of political will, something that is expected to change after the American elections.

Overall, with the new stores in Romania and Cyprus now fully operational and assuming that current conditions do not deteriorate further, management believes that the target set for a 4% sales growth for 2024 is achievable.

As stated in the announcement, the JUMBO Group is committed to continuing to inform its shareholders and partners in a timely and accurate manner of any new developments.
