The Athens Stock Exchange completed today's session without taking any additional risk, with sellers—even if imperceptibly—interrupting the five-day upward streak.

However, the Greek market managed to comfortably "hold" the psychological threshold of 1,400 points, while the attention turns to the financial figures of the systemic banks, which play a catalytic role in the current investment psychology.

All of this is taking place in a tumultuous international environment where Donald Trump's election victory, the dissolution of the German government coalition, and tonight's Fed rate announcements are the main talking points.

Specifically, in the penultimate session of the week, the General Index was almost unchanged at 1,408.50 points, losing less than 1/10th of a point compared to Wednesday's close (1,408.57 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations was fixed at eight points (from 1,404.77 to 1,412.73 points), with a turnover of 96 million euros, of which 15.9 million euros were pre-agreed packages.

ΝΒG shares gained +0.53% and 7.63 euros, Piraeus shares were almost unchanged at 3.732 euros, Alpha shares ended down -0.38% and 1.4255 euros, while Eurobank shares declined -0.18% and 1.988 euros.

In the large-cap index (-0.11% and 3,412 points), Hellaktor's shares tumbled 3.5% and folded to EUR 1.72 (22-month low), due to its removal from the MSCI Small Cap. Lamda, Viohalco and Cenergy lost around -2%, while Titan Cement declined -2.6%, despite strong 9-month gains. On the other hand, PPC shares continued upwards at +1% and 12.05 euros. Helleniq Energy and Motor Oil widened by 1.1% and 0.8%, respectively.

As for the mid-cap index (-0.23% and 2,253 points), Intralot's shares stood out negatively at -5.7% and 0.93 euros, falling to a new 12-month low and losing at least 13% in the last 13 sessions as a result of the Ohio contract loss. Intracom, Lavipharm followed by -1% to -2%. In contrast, PPA shares gained +2.5% to +2.5% and EUR 28.7, with Fourlis shares following at +1.9% and EUR 3.7. Trade Estates, and EYATH gained up to 0.9%.
