Theon announced an increase in incoming orders and backlog for November of approximately $50 million in the U.S., European and Middle Eastern markets. According to the company, the increase in sales was attributed to its most successful product families, Night Vision Goggles and the NYX family of eyepieces, as well as orders for its new product, the IRIS clip-on thermal system.
CLIP-ON IRIS
- The clip-on IRIS thermal system counts orders from 3 NATO member states and 2 Middle Eastern countries
- It is fully compatible with other third-party monocular or bifocal systems and its image, as tested inside and out, is fully optimized when used in conjunction with Theon's night vision products
- It enables existing end-users of Theon's NYX, MIKRON and ARGUS night vision systems Seamlessly add via IRIS a thermal image overlay to their existing night vision image
- In its most advanced version, it displays augmented reality information and supports connectivity with existing Combat Management Systems. This compatibility transforms unibody and biplane systems into combined thermal and night vision systems, offering enhanced situational awareness in demanding environments.
SALES INCREASE
Theon predicts that IRIS will bring significant sales growth, even if it is priced higher than night vision bifocals, as it remains more affordable than the high-tech fused thermal and night vision ORION bifocal.
